Media has heaviest drinkers, poll finds →
Media workers are the biggest consumers of wine, drinking on average one and a half bottles a week. They are also the biggest drinkers of spirits, liqueurs and shots, taking on average 3.2 measures a week, finds the poll by YouGov for the government’s Know Your Limits campaign.

The Provost: Look at COAST's website. They claimed they gathered over 50,000 signatures in 42 days in 2007. They're clearly struggling to get the signatures -- despite hitting up drunks and the elderly.

The Provost: Earlier this year I spent close to $1,000 of my own money traveling to the west coast specifically to see their transit systems. I've probably spent another $1,000 on web hosting for my site, which has been up since 1998. So I was studying and writing about transit systems when you were singing to rooms full of 12 year-old girls and their moms.
